☕ How to Use the Coffee Machine – Nespresso CitiZ (De’Longhi)

🔌 Turning the Machine ON

• Plug in the machine and press either coffee button (Espresso or Lungo).
• The lights will blink while heating up (approx. 25 seconds).
• When the lights stay solid, the machine is ready to use.

🥤 Making Coffee

• Lift the lever fully to open the capsule compartment.
• Insert a Nespresso capsule (logo facing up).
• Lower the lever to close the machine.
• Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
• Press the Espresso (small cup) or Lungo (large cup) button.
• The machine will brew and stop automatically.

🔁 Ejecting Used Capsules

• After brewing, lift the lever to eject the used capsule into the container.
• Lower the lever again to close.

💧 Emptying the Drip Tray & Capsule Container

• The used capsule container holds about 10 capsules.
• Slide out the drip tray and capsule bin from the front to empty.
• Rinse with warm water and replace.

🧼 Cleaning the Machine

• To clean, press either coffee button without a capsule to flush water through.
• Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.

❄️ Energy Saving Mode

• The machine turns off automatically after 9 minutes of inactivity.
• Press any coffee button to switch it back on.
